Purdy studied in our apprentice program under the owner, Krystal Cox, for two and a half years. Purdy is constantly willing to try new things and will never turn down a challenge! From crazy cuts to a fun new hair color, Purdy is always excited to make it possible!

Amanda has been in the hair and makeup world for six years, working with the industry’s top professionals. Amanda is all about creating a relaxed and safe environment to get to know her clients and she cannot wait to see you at The Hair Bar!

Meet Lizzy, our resident lash artist! from lash lifts to volume sets, Lizzy can make your lash wishes come true! Not only is she beyond talented with lashes, she has also recently graduated from Paul Mitchell and is already accepting color clients, so whether it’s lashes or hair; Lizzy is your girl.

Education Program
Welcome! We are proud to be an education salon, as trends are ever changing, we continue to evolve. Our Apprenticeship Program is paramount to us. Sharing our knowledge and watching stylists become successful educators is one of our greatest joys. The Hair Bar Apprenticeship Program aims to develop skills that result in a successful stylist through an immersion-based experience.
Owner Krystal Cox is an educator at heart. She is proud of the ever-growing apprenticeship program that The Hair Bar offers. Once accepted into our apprenticeship program, apprentices not only work side by side with their designated mentor with hands on experience and get to really absorb and dive in to true day to day experiences as they work along side their mentor's schedule; watching, learning and partaking in client appointments. Which not only allows them to truly understand the techniques and science behind hair transformations but also allows them to truly understand the verbiage and proper way of communicating during consultations, establish client relationships and understand true day to day salon experiences. The Hair Bar not only gives them the in-salon experience but additional programs within our apprenticeship program where they also get the advantage of having monthly classes in which they are given theory and practical training for their state board program.
